If the touchpad work, delete the account that has the problem on your Chromebook and then add it again. Click at the bottom-right of the screen ①, then click ②.Ĭlick at the bottom ③. If you have signed-in to the Chromebook, sign out first.
Try to use the touchpad in the Guest account. Press and hold the until the device power off, then power it on again. This way could dislodge dirt or particles stuck around or underneath the touchpad. Gently tap your fingers on your touchpad to create a drumroll effect.

If the touchpad or cursor responses slowly, please follow the steps below to enable the touchpad acceleration feature. Click at the bottom-right of the screen ①, then click ②. Please follow the steps below to enable the feature. You might have disabled the tap-to-click feature. You can move the cursor and scroll the page on your Chromebook’s touchpad, but you fail to tap your touchpad to click.
